As an Independent consultant Hugh has worked for a variety of different clients including a mix of public (eg: BC Ministry of Transportation & Infrastructure, Provincial Capital Commission, Prince Rupert Port Authority, Fisheries and Oceans Canada), semi-private or privately run Crown Corporations (eg: BC Ferries, Greater Victoria Harbour Authority, CRD) and private enterprises (eg: RVYC, Saltspring Island Sailing Club, Oak Bay Marine Group, Lafarge International, Interfor, WFP, Ladysmith Maritime Society).
